Interacting with the chest opens it immediately, releasing a ghost such as the alien ghost that adds to event progress.

Because locations change every round, players must inspect rooms and objects systematically. Gameplay footage reveals chests tucked into specific environmental positions:

• Resting on top of a bedroom mattress.
• Sitting directly on top of elevated interior objects.
• Spawning beside the outdoor Ferris wheel.
• Appearing inside the ringmaster structure.
• Located within the green VAT room, as announced by in-game system messages when discovered.

In-game text notifications periodically alert the server when someone finds a secret chest, naming the room where the discovery occurred. Paying attention to these server notices helps identify room layouts where chests frequently populate.
